Here’s the deal I write about film and food and occasionally pen a short story. Hang with me here and you’ll get posts on all the above and some great communal discussion as well. A bit about my cinematic proclivities, my favorite films are those of from French New Wave and New Hollywood—the 60s and 70s was a great time to be watching films. Revisionist westerns by Sam Peckinpah and Sergio Leone are high on my list too as is the entire body of Akira Kurosawa’s work. I’ll share with you here year end best, who’s going to win the Oscar and more.

I’m a writer living in Cambridge whose reviews, essays, short stories and articles have appeared in The Boston Phoenix, The Boston Globe, The Rumpus, Cambridge Day, The Charleston City Paper and SLAB literary journal. I’m also a member of the Boston Society of Film Critics and teach writing and journalism at Grub Street and the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
